Hello! Let me give you some information about me:

Since November 2009, I am a Visiting Researcher in the Real-Time System Group at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Currently, I am a PhD Student in Computer Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata - System Programming Research Group.
I also collaborate with a Finmeccanica Company in the field of "High Performance GNU/Linux" in the context of Iniziativa Software Finmeccanica.

I have received in 2007 a Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering at University of Rome Tor Vergata. I have spent the first five years of my univerisity studies in the "Collegio Universitario Lamaro Pozzani", which is commonly called "The Residenza" by our partnership friends in the University of Warwick, where I have studied as visiting student for a semester in 2006/2007.

I was born in Verona, but I moved to Rome as soon as I completed my studies at High School.

My interests are in computer science fields, mainly Operating Systems, Real-Time Operating Systems, Multiprocessor Real-Time Systems, Networks and Computer Architectures; but I'm also a free-climber a snowboarder and I like wine degustation and beer tasting

I still administer the Rulp Student server and Website and, before leaving the Residenza, I was the administrator of its internal LAN and domain.
